How To Build a Successful Business That You Love with Kelsey Mead, Kay Hillman, Abbie Stasior, Rachel Gibler, and Kristina Hall
Ready for some inspiration?
In this post, I’m joined by five amazing female entrepreneurs who have built incredibly successful businesses by being their own unique selves.
A bit about these ladies:
- Kelsey Mead is a mindset and success coach who helps ambitious coaches master their mindset so they can be a magnet for health, wealth, and happiness.
- Kay Hillman is a social media expert and photographer who helps women plan their business around their life with social media attraction marketing.
- Abbie Stasior is a health and life coach who helps busy people sustain a healthy lifestyle.
- Rachel Gibler is a business and mindset coach who utilizes the power of the subconscious mind to help her clients manifest their dream lives.
- Kristina Hall is a business and marketing success coach who focuses on strategy and reclaiming your voice.
They are all from different spaces in the online world, but each of them has created a thriving business by tapping into their unique coaching method. In this post, you’ll read about how they discovered their unique coaching method and used it to build a successful business.
Kelsey’s story.
What drew Kelsey to my program was her desire to stand out in an authentic way. She had worked with other coaches before who basically told her how things “had to be” instead of letting her find her own unique way.
Kelsey talked about the importance of focusing on mindset. So many people focus on strategy. While that is important, strategy can’t help you if you have mindset blocks. When you focus on the energy, big shifts happen!
Kay’s story.
Kay was tired of feeling like she was just doing the same thing as everyone else. She knew that blending in was NOT the way to build a successful business, but she wasn’t sure at first how she could stand apart from other coaches.
When she started working with me, she realized that her faith was a big reason why she was attracting a lot of her clients. She decided to be much more open about her faith online. She let her beliefs lead her unique method instead of separating them.
Abbie’s story.
When I started working with Abbie, we got to meet in person. And what I realized from that meeting with her is that she was portraying a very different personality online than who she naturally is. She’s a funny, sassy, and sexy person. But I wasn’t getting that impression on her social media at all.
Abbie realized that she was trying really hard to be professional and come across as an authority. But she was sacrificing a lot of her personality to do that. I helped Abbie see that her personality is what people would be drawn to, and she didn’t have to hide it.
It took some time, but Abbie started showing more and more of her true self online. And that’s when her business really took off! She’s now built a successful business by being her own unique person.

Rachel’s story.
Rachel had brick-and-mortar stores before she got into the online space. She felt at first that online, she had to be “professional” to appear like an authority, and she couldn’t show the whole of who she was.
Now her business feels easy because she’s having fun! She doesn’t have to work so hard to build a successful business. It’s a genuine part of who she naturally is.
Rachel says that when you’re truly yourself, people will be able to see themselves in you. You don’t have to work so hard to be “relatable.” Just tell your own story!
Kristina’s story.
Before Kristina got into coaching, she already had a thriving social media business. She wanted to start coaching others, but she didn’t know how to go about it. She didn’t feel qualified.
But when we started working together, Kristina realized that she WAS qualified. She didn’t realize that she had amazing qualities and expertise that she could bring into her coaching.
When we honed in on her particular coaching method, she realized that what people were saying about her was true! She just had to affirm it for herself. Sometimes it takes an extra dose of encouragement for us to realize our own gifts.
How To Build a Successful Business That You Love with Kelsey Mead, Kay Hillman, Abbie Stasior, Rachel Gibler, and Kristina Hall: The Bottomline
