In today’s episode, I am so excited to have Rachel Gibler on as a guest! Rachel is a professional with the power of manifestation. She’s also an intuitive business coach. She is the owner of The Lash Lounge, a premier salon franchise. After launching her salon, Rachel started documenting her journey on Instagram, which is where she fell in love with coaching! Rachel will be diving into her story on how she got into mindset and how she uses the power of manifestation. We will also be talking about why it is important to take time for yourself to build the business you want.
But before we dive in, let me introduce myself. My name is Megan Yelaney, and I have built two six-figure businesses and one multi-six-figure business by fully embracing my authentic self and not trying to hide the quirks that make me, ME.
So if you’re a female entrepreneur looking to learn, grow your business strategies and mindset, and scale your biz to multiple six figures while having fun doing it…you’re in the right place, girl! Because I made this podcast exactly for YOU!
And today, we will be diving into the importance of self-development and why you should be taking advantage of your inspiration to benefit your business. For even more deets on everything outlined below, be sure to tune in to episode 81 on your fave streaming platform.
When Rachel was 16 her life completely flipped upside down. Her father was in an accident and passed away tragically. She started to spiral downward for about seven to eight years. From there, Rachel had no framework for mindset or any belief in herself. She didn’t know what self-development was or the power of manifestation. When she graduated college, she took a corporate nine-to-five job where she wasn’t happy and found herself constantly working eighty hours a week on things she didn’t care about. She felt like she was on a hamster wheel but knew there was much more she was capable of doing.
Three years ago, Rachel was in an accident that caused her to take a three-month medical leave. Little did she know this time off would lead to an epiphany. She realized she just got everything she has ever asked for, but not in the way she imagined. Rachel thought to herself, “I can either lay in bed and take these pain pills and go back to my job in three months or I can lay in bed and change my life”. From that moment, she grabbed her computer and googled how to be happy, where she found mindset coaching and everything self-development. This is where she decided she wanted to become an entrepreneur.
Rachel read everything she possibly could. She read success stories, watched interviews, studied people she wanted to be like and what they were doing right vs. wrong. She then signed up for life coaching and went into franchising her own lash business.

Once Rachel swallowed her pride and let go of the money that she was making on Instagram coaching, she was able to take time for herself to do the internal work she needed and pivot in the right direction. When she saw that she was already reaching 5k in earnings, she pulled the breaks before she got too deep into where she felt reliant on what that business was giving her.
It was scary for Rachel to come back online and go back to her roots, but she wanted to focus on her initial why. She emphasizes that you have to have the willingness to make mistakes if you are going to put yourself out there publicly. It was a learning experience for her. She had to remain with integrity and focus on why she was doing what she was doing. From there, she dug deep into self-development and found Subconscious Neuro-Linguistic Programming Manifestation. This was her realm and she dug much deeper into it. Now, she talks all about energetic and intuitive business while still life coaching for non-business owners.
Rachel dives into how people can embody alignment and she found that it is all about asking yourself better questions. When you ask yourself better questions, you will get better answers. Before she makes any business decision, whether it’s in her Lash Lounge business, coaching business, or working with clients, she asks herself if the decision is going to be expansive. If the answer is yes, she goes through with that decision. If it feels draining, then it is not in alignment and there is no reason to take that route. Our bodies are such good indicators. We all get a gut feeling for a reason. Usually, something tells us that’s probably not the right thing to do. When that happens, we should listen to it.
Rachel says that you have to be aware of and acknowledge that when you start making an expansive decision. Your brain is going to go into overdrive and can give you a bunch of excuses as to why it won’t work. You have to put yourself into a mindset where you believe the success is already happening. Rachel uses visualization a lot in her life and business. It’s been a huge game-changer for her having those practices and rituals of visualizing either clients she’s calling in or the business that she wants to create.
When it comes to Rachel’s clients, the power of manifestation is on an energetic level. If you have a limiting subconscious belief, you are going to burn out and spin your wheels. You have to get your energy and beliefs aligned with what you want. One of the biggest things that Rachel does is visualize the energy of the women she is calling into work with. What does she want to embody? What does she want for her life? How does she live her life? These are all the questions that run through her head. She trusts that the right people will come into her energy at the perfect time. If you don’t have your beliefs and energy in line with what you say you want to create, then you are not going to create it.
Rachel says you shouldn’t agree to work with clients who aren’t aligned with you. Just because you want to sign a client isn’t enough. There needs to be an energetic alignment between you both. She makes sure to stay in integrity and visualize if a client is someone she could serve and help give value to.
Rachel talks a lot about balance and how important it is to be honest with yourself. When you use the power of manifestation to get something, you have to take the action. Post on Instagram, connect with people in the media and do all the other tasks that light you up and get you excited for your service. It is so important to be excited about your business because you are not just selling, you are helping. Don’t post just to post. Post when you’re excited about what it is that you have to say. A lot of times we wait for inspiration to strike and it never strikes at the right time. As a business owner, you have to be taking full advantage when that inspiration strikes because that’s coming from your soul, your heart, and your place of service.
While speaking with Rachel, she mentions the importance of repurposing content and how it can burn you out when you constantly try to come up with new ideas. We don’t have to be developing original content ALL the time. If your clients are resonating with something, continue on that. People don’t need to just read something one time, they need to read it seven or eight times to get the true message out of it.
Rachel wants the listeners to know that it’s okay to give yourself a break every once in a while. You’re constantly learning and growing. Just the fact that you’re choosing to put yourself out there online is huge. You have to look at how far you’ve come and focus on your journey because nobody is on the chapter in your book. You can’t compare yourself to somebody else’s journey and that is something Rachel tries to emphasize. Not every day is going to be incredible. She tells us that entrepreneurship is an insane roller coaster, but we have to embrace every part of the ride. On the days that you don’t want to post or you don’t want to show up, go into your “success bank”. What Rachel has her clients do is have a list of all their achievements and things they have overcome. On the days where they are not feeling good enough, they can go into their success bank and fill themselves up from there. Her clients must remind themselves of how far they’ve come and what they have done.
For Rachel, it is about separating your worth and knowing that you are not tied to your business. No amount of money is ever going to be worth being out of integrity with yourself. You cannot have a sustainable business if you don’t believe what it is that you are here to give. If you are doing it all just for money, you will burn out.
I hope this episode enlightened you on the power of manifestation and guides you in the right direction for your business and life goals. I loved my whole conversation with Rachel and learning more about her story. Seeing where she started is so inspiring and I want you all to stay true to your beliefs and pay attention to your own intuition, it will get you so far! Remember, entrepreneurship is all about the lessons you are learning, not about the income.
