How To Quickly and Easily Sell Out Your High-Ticket, 1-on-1 Client Programs
Today on the #PrettyAwkward Entrepreneur Podcast, I want to share with you how I filled my high ticket, 1-on-1 coaching program, and mastermind.
I’m not going to pretend there’s any kind of hack or secret to this.
Building up your programs takes WORK.
But no matter where you are in your business journey, you can start applying these principles. It takes dedication, but over time, you’ll see the results.
Before we dive in, let me introduce myself. My name is Megan Yelaney, and I have built two six-figure businesses and one multi-six-figure business by fully embracing my authentic self and not trying to hide the quirks that make me, ME. So if you’re a female entrepreneur looking to learn, grow your business strategies and mindset, and scale your biz to multiple six figures while having fun doing it…you’re in the right place, girl! Because I made this podcast exactly for YOU!
Today I’ll be sharing with you how I sold out my high-ticket programs so that you can do the same! For even more deets on everything outlined below, be sure to tune in to episode 87 on your fave streaming platform.
Create a consistent content plan.
When you look at successful people in your industry, don’t compare or judge yourself. Remember that it takes time to earn a loyal following.
“Overnight success” really happens over years of work.
You don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes or the years of struggle it took someone to get to where they are today. You need to focus on what you can do right now: showing up consistently. Creating consistent content is SO important for your business. In order to buy from you, your audience needs to trust you.
When you deliver consistent content they can look forward to and expect, they’ll begin to respect your position as an expert. They will trust you because of the value you deliver.
Remember– value doesn’t just have to be practical steps or takeaways. Of course, it totally can be! But don’t feel limited to that. V
Value can be so many things:
Inspiring someone
Making someone laugh
Shifting someone’s perspective
— anything that’s helpful is valuable! Whatever your gold is, lean into that. Remember that this is about quality over quantity. Don’t try to do too much! Don’t think that if you can’t do it all it’s not worth doing. Find what you are best at, and do it faithfully. If you are providing episodic content your audience can rely on, you will attract the right clients.

Really, really, really serve your clients.
If you want a trusting group of clients, you have to do what you say you’re gonna do. I always deliver on my promises and then some. I truly take care of my clients.
I am incredibly responsive, while still setting some boundaries.
I’m very present in my coaching calls.
I over-deliver, and that’s how I’ve established a faithful client base.
I promise it will serve you long term to focus on delivering for your clients. They will trust you and come back to you. AND they’ll refer to you! Believe me, you want those people in your container.
DON’T spend more time marketing your services than serving your clients! You have to put them first. It takes more energy to attract new clients than to resign. Of course, attracting new people is important, but you can’t do that at the expense of those you already have. Deliver for your clients, and they’ll come back to you again and again.
Continue your education.
You need to keep learning or else you’ll stay stagnant.
And when you’re stuck, your clients will be stuck. Invest in your education so you can better serve your clients!
This year, I’ve invested in copywriting, funnel, and therapeutic modality courses. I’m also working towards getting my life coach certification.
This is all so I can use what I’ve learned to better help my clients! It’s genuinely interesting and exciting to me, and I can’t wait to take what I’ve learned and use it to help others.
When you’re thinking about what kind of education to invest in, ask yourself:
What you already like to learn?
What do you love doing?
What’s interesting to you?
Don’t only invest in something for the sake of your clients. If it’s not genuinely interesting to you, it’s not worth it. But ask yourself what things are coming up consistently with your clients, and see if any of those things intersect with your interests. If so, it will be worth investing in for you and your clients!
Find joy in the process.
When I started out coaching, I felt jealous of other people in the industry. I felt frustrated and down on myself.
But eventually, I shifted my perspective. I told myself that if they could do it, I could do it. There was no reason I couldn’t get there. And I reminded myself that it would take time.
Wherever you are in your business journey, give yourself some grace. You’re doing your best, and you WILL get to where you want with hard work and intentionality.
Having a strong support system is also so important. I’m really excited that my husband will be joining me on the podcast in some upcoming episodes to share his perspective on our business journey. It hasn’t been perfect. But I’m so thankful for his support, and I’m excited to share our story with you all soon. Stay tuned for those!
