Meanwhile, Kelsey Mead is a holistic health coach who’s also crushed it at building an incredible online business.
So if you’re a female entrepreneur looking to learn, grow your business strategies and mindset, and scale your biz to multiple six figures while having fun doing it…you’re in the right place, girl! Because I made this podcast exactly for YOU!

First things first, I wanted to have Kelsey share her own amazing transformation story. I would say ninety-five to ninety-nine percent of people who become online entrepreneurs, especially online coaches, were inspired to become one because they had a transformation of their own, and Kelsey is no exception.
In her case, Kelsey initially struggled with obsessive dieting and exercise and trying to force her way into happiness. But by letting go of all the rules, ditching the scale, ditching the diet and focusing on a real healthy lifestyle, Kelsey found a brand new perspective.
Then, slowly but surely, Kelsey released her first workout guide…invested in her first coach…and started a healthy vending machine business with her husband.
This podcast was created with YOU in mind. The female entrepreneur looking to learn, and grow your business strategies and mindset, to get your business off the ground and scale to multiple six figures and have fun doing it. To inspire and empower you to take the required action you’ve been putting off to create products and make sales.
Each week we will be covering topics that will help you start, grow and scale your business. Some topics that you can expect to be covered include:
I can’t wait to hear about what you learn, what makes you laugh, and what tips allow you to grow your business and brand as your authentic self.
Stay #prettyawkward.
If you feel like you’re NEVER hitting high enough sales numbers or booking enough clients, remember this master tip from Kelsey:
Focus on the journey instead of the end goal.
Focus on what you want to do every day versus the number of clients or the amount of money you make.
Because if you’re not enjoying the process, why are you doing it? And when you work from your heart, it doesn’t feel like work at all!
When Kelsey and I chatted about some of our past clients who’ve had with the BEST results ever, you know what they all had in common? They experienced a huge mindset shift! It didn’t matter if they were trying to lose weight or wanted to start a business – the most rewarding part of the whole journey was their change in perspective.
So, yeah, other aspects of the clients’ lives mattered. If they want to lose weight, diet and exercise matter. But mindset is the MOST important piece of the puzzle. And so when you understand that and can coach from that place, your clients’ transformations are legit guaranteed.
Now, Kelsey is seriously a master at mindset changes, so if you’re looking for tools to help you do the same thang, try out the following tips from this episode:

(Um, FINALLY!)
Connect, grow, and scale your business to 6-Figures. Awkwardly.
Right now, it’s really easy to think, “OMG, my business is gonna crumble. No one is going to want to buy anything from me.”
And if that’s you, here’s what Kelsey suggests: think back to a time when you quit something. Why did you give up? Most likely, because you were afraid or because you didn’t love what you were doing.
But if you DO love what you’re doing, push through. Persevere and focus on what you CAN control and forget about the rest.
I know this is a pretty sucky time right now, but I hope this podcast episode helps you see the opportunity for a perspective shift. Take this time to evaluate, like, what are you doing every day? How are you showing up every day? Is it what you want to be doing and how you want to be showing up every day?
And if you are struggling to show up like you hope, take a few days off and figure out the meaning behind what you’re doing. ‘Cause, sure, we all like money. Any entrepreneur who says differently is lying. But visualize what that money can really mean for you. Would it mean investing in a coach, donating to charity, providing for your family? Visualize it and make a list, because when you get super specific about where your money is going and why you’re excited, you put good energy into it, and then all your work isn’t just for the sake of it.
And when things feel especially freakin’ rough, try to ask yourself, “What is this trying to teach me?” Because there is a lesson to be learned that will help you – or a coaching client of yours! – years down the road.
Those are ALL my top tips for shifting your mindset during today’s trying times, or otherwise. I hope these are helpful and help you develop an even more beneficial perspective today, tomorrow and the coming weeks. As always, stay safe, stay healthy and stay #PrettyAwkward.
