The Secret Behind the Message That Made Me $189K

“I didn’t do anything wildly different. I just doubled down on my edge.”

Welcome to part two of my launch debrief! This one’s all about what worked, so bust out your notepads and make sure you save this episode.

This is a continuation of the last episode, so if you did not go listen to that, I highly recommend doing that! In that episode, I covered mistakes we made and what I learned from them.

I’m breaking down how much cash was collected between April and July (all while I worked less than I ever have), and—more importantly—the strategy behind how that happened.

I’m also sharing what I learned about cold vs warm audience messaging when running ads, and the highest converting low-ticket offer I keep coming back to again and again!

Topics covered in this podcast episode:

  • How close I am to my $200K quarter cash goal
  • What was the common thread behind the new student cash influx
  • Cold vs. warm audience messaging
  • What landed with ads and what didn’t
  • What I’d change about my last launch funnel
  • The magic element for every live event I’ve been running
  • Why I have such a high client retention rate
  • The workshop that converts at 23-24% into TDE

I hope this synopsis over the last two episodes has helped you.

Megan Yelaney (00:00:03)

Who loves that sound? If you hate it, I’m so sorry that that’s how I started off this podcast. ⁓ But I just poured, or just poured. I just opened. ⁓ This is why I need it. I just opened an energy drink at Zevia. I’m gonna take a quick sip. Hmm. Because your girl has been solo momming it this weekend. Second week in a row in a row, I promise my husband is not a gambling like addict. ⁓ We were joking around. He’s like, people are gonna think I’m a degenerate.

He was a po professional poker player. I think I shared this on the last episode. But if this is your first time tuning in, my husband used to play poker professionally, hasn’t in over three years. ⁓ And he had two tournaments back to back in Atlantic City that he really wanted to go to. I said, Go for it. I got the boys. And it’s been ⁓ really awesome, actually. I’ve loved my alone time with them. It’s been amazing. But I think ⁓ I think I got a little sleepy. ⁓ We were lying down in our guest bedroom and they like to do that sometimes and cuddle up under the covers and read. It’s

the most precious thing, but it was right near nap time. ⁓ And I was like, my gosh, I’m falling asleep as I’m reading this to you guys. ⁓ Really intentionally planned to take a nap with them. Not with them, but like in my own bed. ⁓ Put them down, but was hungry, made lunch, and then just got a second wind. You know how that happens? So maybe I just need some food in me. I’m like, I’m gonna go record the podcast because I really feel like this, but I also got my energy drink. So we’re gonna continue. ⁓ and I’m seeing a show tonight. My

Brother-in-law and sister-in-law are coming over to watch the boys, put them down so can go see a show with my mom. Anywho, this is like ⁓ neither here nor there for the topic at hand, but that’s just where I’m at as I’m recording this and I’m I’m feeling good. So ⁓ I’m really excited to chat today. This is like a continuation really of the last episode. So if you did not go listen to that, I highly recommend it. ⁓ It’s just right before this one, where I was really breaking down my latest TDE launch as well as the 108K launch we had behind the scenes for it.

I also realized as I was talking to my team and prepping a post for this week as I’m recording this episode that I was a little off with my numbers. I actually was shortchanging myself. So our TDE numbers were actually a little bit higher. It was around 50,000, not 46. ⁓ So that’s fun. Fun fact. ⁓ so we were we were a little bit more than I even thought. ⁓ All in all, something cool.

Megan Yelaney (00:02:20)

That happened. I’m gonna get into the the task at hand. I had written down right after I recorded last week what I wanted to talk about today. It’s like again, this is like a part two continuation of ⁓ last episode. I feel like I gave you all the numbers, laid everything out logistically, what we actually did, the events leading up to the launch, ⁓ and then the behind-the-scenes process for the mastermind launch. But ⁓ I shared what we did wrong ⁓ or what I learned mistakes we made and how I really, really learned from them. ⁓ And so I hope you got a lot out of that. That was really

⁓ honestly therapeutic for me to like just go through again and be like, hey, look, you can screw a lot of stuff up and still make good money, right? That’s I hope that’s inspiring to you. You do not need to be perfect. No one is ever, ever, ever, no matter no matter how many years you’ve been doing this. But today we’re gonna talk about what I did right, what went really well, why I think that even with all of those things that went wrong, we still had great launches, you know, front-facing and behind the scenes, ⁓ and why.

I’m actually, this is gonna sound weird, grateful ⁓ that we didn’t hit ⁓ my launch goal for ⁓ TDE. I will explain. Okay, so first, between last week and this week, actually I think it was Friday. Yes, it was Friday nap time, right before solo moming was gonna go into full effect. Mike had left that morning, we had a babysitter, I got a massage, ⁓ it was amazing. It was so good.

hundred minute massage, how luxurious. I I just like I have to do it. ⁓ And so they were napping and I was just getting some posts ready and I had emailed my bookkeeper. I said, hey, can you send me numbers specifically from April 1st through July 7th? Because that’s like when ⁓ my mastermind and ⁓ TDE launches ended. It was pretty it was pretty much simultaneously. TDE technically started I think the sixth, ⁓ but we had some people trickle in.

And so I wanted to get like exact, exact numbers. And so she did send that over and she’s like, here are your PL for those dates. Cause that to me, ⁓ I’m counting that as my quarter too. Because I could have just shifted the launch one week earlier ⁓ and all of that would have happened. ⁓ and so my goal, if you again are new here or you just forgot because you have a life ⁓ and I’m not your life, ⁓ remember, by the way, just side note, remember, people don’t remember everything because ⁓ or see everything you do.

Megan Yelaney (00:04:46)

Because they have their own life, right? So if they forget these minor details, that’s but that’s never focus on, my gosh, they’re they’re they’re looking at everything I’m doing. No, they’re not. I promise you. They’re too busy being a human and worrying about themselves, right? But I had a goal for 200k, ⁓ cash, not sales, cash in the bank, actual cash, right? Sales, we did way more than that, but actual cash. I just want to make that really clear. Cause that’s I think a very, very important distinction. I always try to say.

Whether this was sales or cash, because you could say, hey, I had 200K cash month, or sorry, 200k sales month. Wonderful. But if that’s over a year, that’s very different than a 200K cash month, right? ⁓ And I just want to make that clear because I don’t see everyone distinguish that. It’s a little pet peeve of mine. So I always, always do. ⁓ So my goal was 200k cash in the bank, not counting sales ⁓ after that, or what that month brought in, you know, for the future. ⁓ And ⁓ as ⁓

things were happening and progressing, I was like, okay, I think we’re getting pretty close. But then I was like, no, I don’t I don’t know if we I don’t know, I don’t think we did it. I I know we didn’t do it, but I think we were like mm, probably like forty, forty or so thousand off. And I just didn’t like sit down to really look at it because again, I wanted to count through the beginning of the first week of July since that’s really when the launches ended. That’s when I decided to do it. I have full faith this all would have happened a week before, technically in quarter two, if my launch actually ended in quarter two. But it didn’t. So

We ended 189, 11, and 35 cents. $189,001 and 35 cents. So stinking close. ⁓ I just figured this out literally a few days ago. ⁓ And I shared this on my stories. I was so excited. And it’s gonna be in a post that I’m doing or already did as this came, as this episode airs, ⁓ breaking down, you know, some things behind that. ⁓ And when I just like sat in that, it was pretty cool timing because I’m like, here I am, about to.

fully solo mom. I had a busy-ish week, but like spent all Wednesday morning with my son, all Thursday afternoon sons, I have two, Thursday afternoon all with my one son. We did some one-on-one time. I just had like a lot of ⁓ one-on-one time with them the last few weeks and like more so than normal. ⁓ And I was very much momming. It felt like ⁓ very heavily momming way more than business the last couple weeks. So to have that ⁓

Megan Yelaney (00:07:06)

right on like a right around this to be like, ⁓ and guess what? You’ve had your best quarter in years ⁓ working the least amount you’ve worked. Like I worked less in quarter two than quarter one. I felt so ⁓ I felt so excited, proud. I’m I’m trying to think of a better word because I did it sounds so lame. ⁓ I just felt like shit, I think we can do this. ⁓ Like I really think we can do this. Now I have realized and I shared this two episodes ago

That I have to change a lot on the back end, even more than I thought. I have to get more help. I have to let go of a lot of control. And that’s a me thing. ⁓ And I’m working on that. I’m already making strides in that. Already ⁓ really, really looking for another team member. ⁓ And ⁓ I know what I have to do, but I think seeing this number helped me go, Megan, this is your sign. You need to loosen the reins. Like this this can get back to and more than you’ve ever done.

And so that was really frickin’ exciting. Like that was really, really, really exciting to be like, ⁓ wow, we’re like basically almost almost there for the very consistent income that I used to have. ⁓ And ⁓ in way less time than we used to do it. And let me tell you, mama was working forty plus hours every single week. So this realization was really, really exciting as ⁓ as I was about to sold a mom for the weekend. So

All right, let’s get to the point at hand. I am recording this during nap time. So I do have limited time, which is when I like to record. Otherwise, I will go off on tangents forever. ⁓ So one of the first things that I said, or one of the last things I should say I said in the last episode was I’m gonna share ⁓ a couple things that I know really worked. ⁓ One ⁓ why why this did well, why we signed people behind the scenes, why I had for the for the mastermind, why I had all those evergreen sales, why the

conversion event actually converted at a good rate. We were very, very excited. Our our conversion rate actually was right on target with what we wanted. We just didn’t have the amount of leads that we needed to hit the goal. So that was like a very cool wow. We we did what we wanted. We just needed more people in. And so moving forward, ⁓ we really are going to work on the cold audience message. And that’s something I’m going to share in a second. But the message was unlocked and then also the cold audience versus ⁓ warm audience that I’ll I’ll go actually you know what? Let me start with that first. So

Megan Yelaney (00:09:29)

I have not run ads in forever, like so, so, so long. ⁓ And ⁓ it’s a very different strategy to target cold versus warm. And so when I was putting out my event, which was we ran ads to my 10K strategy guide, ⁓ the main character energy podcast, which pretty much every single person who opted in or who opted in, who bought, had a touch point with main character energy. So we are actually now gonna be running ads to that evergreen we just decided. ⁓

My coach s suggested that as well. My ads manager did. I felt that gut pull. It was like a yes, yes, yes on all accounts. ⁓ People who have listened to that really get a very fast ⁓ understanding of my process and me. ⁓ And you either like it or you don’t. You know, it’s podcasting is so great in that way, obviously, as I’m right here with you. ⁓ And so I’m really pumped for that to be an Evergreen. I just changed the last episode so that it doesn’t go to my live event that just happened.

But we’ll prep them for the next one. So I’ll replace that once we have all that information ready to go. ⁓ But I’m really pumped to have that going in. So that converted well to cold. But then we got to the live event. ⁓ And this is gonna sound like a lot of people. It is 540 or so people opted in. That is a lot of people. But just to put in perspective, like organically, a lot of the time I will do between 250 to 300 myself. So ⁓

Which we didn’t even get that many organic. I think we got around 200, which is low for me for organic. And so ⁓ it wasn’t at the thousand mark that we were gunning for. We were gunning for a thousand people opted in. And that’s where we kept going back and forth with the message. And what we realized was the the message for the ⁓ opt-in page was a little bit too warm. So even the title, Wildly in Demand Summer Sales Edition.

The tagline, which I’ll bring that up just because I have it right here, the story positioning and proof that turns summer into your highest converting season. Again, this converted well in January when I did it. Obviously, it wasn’t the summer season because I was speaking to a warm audience. I wasn’t running ads, I was speaking to people who were pretty used to me, knew me. ⁓ Even if they like just came in recently, they kind of understood the way I spoke, my language, and they knew that story proof positioning were were things that I talked about a lot that you need.

Megan Yelaney (00:11:48)

This one needed to be a little bit different. You know what? Let me see if I can even bring up ⁓ my ⁓ second version of this that we ended up making. Is this the one? Let me see really quick. I’m gonna get this for you. Here we go. I think this is it.

Megan Yelaney (00:12:13)

Okay, so for the version that we created about halfway through promo, so after a week ⁓ of having ads run to this, we were like, okay, we’re not where we want to be numbers wise with the ads, like what’s happening. ⁓ And so we we were getting actually we were getting people from the ads, but we weren’t getting as many people actually signing up once they land landed on the page. And so we created a separate page ⁓ and it started for online coaches who want sales coming in this summer when everyone else gets quiet.

Then it’s how to turn summer into your highest converting season instead of your slowest. The three-day live framework for coaches who want sales coming in when everyone else goes quiet, blah, blah, blah. I put a video on that page. That immediately started doing better, but we had half the amount of time to actually make it happen. ⁓ So, ⁓ and even that, like, I there are some things I’m like, I see where this is still speaking to a little bit more warm of an audience.

So one of the biggest things I learned that we will apply moving forward is you need two versions of your page or one version, but make the version for the cold audience. Speak so clearly to the result that they want. Wildly in demand, yes. Do people want to be in demand? Of course. But even that phrase, it’s a little like, ⁓ what’s the what’s the word I want to use? It’s kind of it’s sexy, but it’s a little vague, right? Like what does that mean? ⁓

And then where this tagline for online coaches who want sales coming in this summer, it’s like you’re an online coach identifier right there. You want sales coming in in the summer, right? How to turn it into your highest converting season. And it goes three-day framework. And the video, I think this is really what clinched it. ⁓ In the video, right away, ⁓ the first thing I say is I went from consistent 4K or sorry, I went from consistent 4K months to consistent 20K months in less than a year.

And then I go in to explain I never had content going viral. I never sent a lot of cold DMs. So I right away share probably where a lot of the people who would join this are to where they wanna be and then what they don’t want to do, right? And that did real that ended up being one of our best videos because we didn’t just put it on the landing page, we also used it as an ad. That was one of the top, if not the top converting ad. ⁓ So again, clear over clever always with your content.

Megan Yelaney (00:14:28)

This is where you need to speak so clearly to what they want. Like I got really specific with that. You’re making 4K consistent months, but you you can’t bust past this. There is a reason for it in this class. I’m gonna show you what the reason is, right? ⁓ And so that did well. But again, we didn’t have the time and there were some other things on the page I would have changed. So moving forward, really think. If someone is just finding me, because when you think about it, you’re you’re running an ad, they’re coming to the page, you don’t need to stop their scroll.

Right now, they’re on the page, right? It’s not like an Instagram where you have to be all clever. Speak very specifically. And you might be saying it in a way a lot of other people say it. For this, that’s okay. You’re gonna show them your unique process, your unique framework, ⁓ more in the page, and of course in the event. ⁓ So that is something that we learned, we tweaked, it got better, but definitely would change it for next time. I hope that makes sense. As you’re listening, if you have any questions, just shoot me a DM on Instagram. ⁓ The next thing that worked.

Well, or that was more of a l learning lesson, if you will. But all in all, my message in the class was so ⁓ on lock. ⁓ So, so on lock that by the end, I had so many conversations happening. I had, I think, five or six applications the second I logged off on day three. ⁓ I again just didn’t have the lead pool to hit the initial goal. ⁓ I know my IDO clients’ main problems so clearly. I know their exact deep desires. And when I say problems,

I mean down to the moments that they experience every single day on a regular basis, like what keeps them up at night, what they’re constantly worrying about, ⁓ how they want to feel the mistakes that they are making, and then they’re kicking themselves for continuing to make. ⁓ I know what they have tried to ⁓ solve these problems and to stop making these mistakes before and why it didn’t work. ⁓ All of that.

I know so well. This is something we go in so deeply to into the IDO client lesson inside of my program. ⁓ And then the second part of this, so I know that that goes into the master class of the series. I did a three-day live series, ⁓ but I also have a really clear process to take them through to actually hit their goal that I know they have not tried. And so for my specific process, it’s called Define Your Edge is phase one, message your edge is phase two, and sell your edge is phase three. Simple again.

Megan Yelaney (00:16:47)

Clear over clever every time. And I can explain it really simply so that by the end of the class, they’re like, ⁓ crap, I don’t, ⁓ I don’t have that. I don’t have an edge. I don’t have a distinctive edge. Or, ⁓ you know, I think I know what my edge is, but I have no idea how to talk about it without sounding confusing. ⁓ Like I have no clue how to say this without people looking at me like I have 50 heads. Like, what are you saying? ⁓ Obviously, there’s many, many parts to this.

But I take my clients through this in an intense like framework exercise to help them map out how they actually help clients and how to talk about how they help clients. I call it my framework workshop. ⁓ I’m actually just a little plug in here. You’ll probably hear an ad as well. ⁓ I in in the middle of this. But on August 19th, let me double check my dates. my gosh, Megan, be prepared. Gosh, what is wrong with you? Yes, August 19th. Okay, good. ⁓

On August 19th at 1 p.m. Eastern, I am running my framework workshop live for the first time in a year. I have not run this puppy live. I’ve had plenty of people buy it recorded, but I haven’t run it live in a year. It’s $47 with an optional VIP upgrade for me to actually review your framework. I had to sneeze just now. I paused it, but I apologize if you caught the if you caught the tail end of that. That was really funny timing. So it’s 47 with an optional VIP upgrade for me to review your framework.

We’re gonna have the link in the show notes. Of course, go snag your spot. I promise you, this has been, you know, honestly, like snag it, even if you just wanna be a little meta-inception-y. This is was my ⁓ best converting low-ticket offer to my program. Like we had, I think, a 20-something percent, make 23, 24% conversion from this, which is wild, ⁓ into my program. Because once people realized, my gosh, like this was, I just mapped out everything so clearly. Now I need to know how to sell it.

How to talk about it, all this stuff. It was very easy for them to realize they needed my program. So come just even for that. But also if you don’t know what your exact process is, how you walk people through the results that they get, they come into your offer, they go through results, they go sorry, they go through your process and then they get the results. How do you actually do that? What I find is a lot of people, even people who have made a ton of money in their business, they’re like, I just kind of intuitively do it.

Megan Yelaney (00:19:03)

You know, like I just it’s just everyone’s a little bit different. It’s a little custom. That’s what makes it so special. That sounds wonderful and not buyable. Who’s gonna purchase that? ⁓ If people are buying, they’re buying because they like you and your vibe, and that’s amazing. And you can make so much more money when you can actually explain what you do. ⁓ And every single person has a process. They just have not taken the time to actually take what they naturally do in their brain. ⁓

And put it out there. And that’s exactly what we are talking about on this class. You will, it’s workshops. You literally will do the work on the workshop. You will map everything out. And at the end, you’re gonna have your three to five step process. You’re gonna know exactly how to explain it. You’re gonna even have a GPT to give you content ideas that I that I’ve been using for gosh ⁓ seven, eight months. My clients are obsessed with it ⁓ just for the framework. Like it’s specifically geared towards that and developing it again with everything that I I use with my clients to do it. So

make sure it’s $47. It’s a steal of a deal. ⁓ Go to the link in the show notes to get your seat for this because it’s gonna be absolutely incredible. I’m so excited to run it live. Okay, so ⁓ all that inceptioning again, that is why I know this message really landed because I again I had that clearer process, but there’s so many there’s so many times people can be like, okay, I I now know my process, but how do I actually talk about it in a way that makes sense? So I ⁓

really set my events up so that ⁓ my main teachings ⁓ is the process that I use. So I said, define your edge, message your edge, sell your edge, right? Guess what? That’s what I talked about all three days. Define, message, sell. Obviously, well not obviously, I guess should say, I did not say it that way every day. ⁓ So on day one for this last one wildly in demand summer sales, it was all about story. Day two,

It was all about framework and day three, it was all about proof ⁓ and like client how to share client wins. ⁓ So technically, those are all things I actually do in phase one. But I made it really clear ⁓ where define, message, and sell ⁓ is really ⁓ a necessary part ⁓ of ⁓ you having the success you want, of you standing out on social media and signing the clients that you want, ⁓ increasing your income.

Megan Yelaney (00:21:22)

That’s something that I go through so, so clearly. And so when I really look back, I’ve had the same main points for every single event I have run, because they’re my framework, those three main points, right? Define, message, sell. But I always package it from a slightly different angle. So in June of 2025 was my first live launch of this program. The first two ⁓ cohorts I ran were behind the scenes. ⁓ And it was called Define Your Edge to Attract Clients on Repeat. Day one, I went over ⁓ the define, day two message, day three sell.

Then in September, I ran an event called Content Fix your message. ⁓ fix your message in just three days and turn cautious fire buyer. my gosh, let’s try this again. ⁓ Content fix. Fix your message in just three days and turn cautious followers into buyers. I ran that in September of last year. Guess what? We’re running it again in the September a year later. It was ⁓ my, I don’t think it was, it wasn’t the most opted into that was wildly in demand, but it was my ⁓ highest converting. It was my highest converting.

And then wildly in demand in January, the story positioning and proof that makes clients choose you for who you actually are. And then wildly in demand, summer sales edition, the story sum a positioning of proof that turns summer into your highest converting season that we just ran. ⁓ So these one, two, three, four live events we have so far run into this program, ⁓ every single first day is defined. Day two is message, day three is sell.

When you know your framework, when you have it so unlocked, it literally creates all of your events for you. It creates those assets for you. Now, like I said, all from a different angle. So if you go to all three, four of those events, you wouldn’t see that it’s the same event, right? Well, the last two were literally the same event with a little bit of summer thrown in there. That was very clear. But you wouldn’t really notice it because it’s so packaged from a different angle. But I am getting the same main message across.

By the end, people realize, shit, ⁓ I need a distinctive edge and I need to know how to talk about it ⁓ really clearly. Because if I don’t, I won’t have something I am known for. And if I’m not known for something, I am not gonna get chosen by the clients that I want. I’m gonna get left behind. Right? That’s really the premise of it. Is you wanna be known for something, you need one main message. ⁓ This process helps you figure that out. And that is something I say on repeat over and over and over and over again. It’s not complicated.

Megan Yelaney (00:23:44)

It’s very simple, right? And it doesn’t mean you can’t have sort of a complicated process. I have a client who’s a health coach, but she has a really unique way of getting clients’ results. It’s very cerebral, it’s very like ⁓ a lot of mindset work, but it freaking works. Like she’s so good at what she does. I hope she’s listening and she’ll know who she is, but she’s so good at what she does. And one of the things that she has struggled with ⁓ is explaining it simply, but not.

oversimplifying it so that it’s leaving her out. And I really feel like she’s actually just joined the mastermind. We have really gotten to a perfect blend of that where it’s like ⁓ she’s talking to educated women who are like, I want to be challenged intellectually. ⁓ I want to get the mindset piece of this. She’s not trying to talk to people who aren’t about the mindset with the health. She’s like, nope, that’s not my people. They are ready to do it. So

They can be challenged a little bit, but we can’t make it so cerebral, so confusing that they have to reread something a million times to get it. People aren’t doing that, right? ⁓ So that is really the the piece of it, is it has to be something that’s so simple to repeat that your people can repeat it back to you. ⁓ I’m signing up with Meg because I need I don’t know what my edge is. I need to figure it out. I need I need to know how to talk about it because I really want to have something I’m known for.

I really want to be able to have that one main topic that I talk about on podcasts and get tired for it speaking events. And I just don’t know what that is because I don’t know my edge. I don’t know my framework. I don’t know my signature story. I need all of that. Obviously, I’ve said this a million times, but you see how simple that is to understand, how quickly and easily that runs off my tongue, ⁓ right? That’s because I’ve gone through my own freaking process, my friends, and that’s literally what we’re gonna help you do in the framework workshop. Your framework, hands down, one of the other reasons I like this one.

The most out of any low-ticket event I’ve run is it’s definitely the biggest aha. When I have clients go through this, they’re like, shit, I thought I had a framework. ⁓ Or I kept saying, No, no, no, I don’t because it’s so unique. And they they use that as like a point of pride. And it, I’m like, how’s it, how’s it working for you? Right? If you’re paying attention to me, it’s probably not working the way you want it to. ⁓ And they leave this going, ⁓ my gosh, I can actually spell it out. Like I get it now. And something else I’ll say about this that’s been pretty cool, is a lot of people who

Megan Yelaney (00:25:56)

go through this process, are excited to use this with their current clients to help them understand that they have to be patient ⁓ and they have to look at the process. Like when you can onboard a client and say, hey, here are the three phases you’re gonna go through. Phase one, phase two, phase three, or four or five, right? Three to five. ⁓ You’re having this, maybe they’re having a tough time, right? We’re still in phase one. We still have to establish X, Y, Z. You’re trying to jump to three.

That’s why you’ve been stuck for all these years. You joined this program for a reason. You trust me. You trust this process. If you try to jump to step three, you’re just gonna experience what you’ve experienced for years. You’re gonna stall out, you’re gonna lose the results, you’re gonna go backwards. I’m not gonna let you because that’s what I’m here for. That’s my job. We are gonna stick it out. We’re gonna work through this resistance. I promise you, if you stick this out and you go through the steps in phase one, the way I laid it out, you will make those breakthroughs.

And then you will get to two, and then you will get to three. And guess what? It’ll actually stick this time. Right. And so you can hold the framework up to them and show them, hey, this is completely normal. It’s so normal to feel this at this point in the program. This is what happens for everyone. But guess what’s on this other side? In phase two, here’s what we do, et cetera, et cetera. Right. So it will help you ⁓ help your clients stay the course, which will help them get better results, which will help them refer you more, which will help them resign.

It’s such a win-win-win-win when you can confidently talk through your process. I cannot tell you ⁓ how impactful this has been. So again, go to the link in the show notes, sign up. It’s August 19th. There will be a replay, of course, but do everything you can in your in your in your being to move things around to make it that day because ⁓ it’s gonna be live. I’m gonna walk through it with you and you can ask questions. ⁓ So it’s not gonna be just me on there. It’s gonna be Zoom so everyone can, it’s not gonna be Zoom webinars so that I can’t see your faces.

Course, you don’t have to show your face, but it will be where you can ask questions and actually like talk through some things too. ⁓ So that is the main when I look really back at the launch and just why I’ve had, you know, gosh, out of again, out of the 10 mastermind clients, nine have gone through the TDE process. It’s because of this. It’s because I have such a clear main message based off of my framework and my uniqueness. So my story, my lived experience, my approach, right?

Megan Yelaney (00:28:18)

All of that is like this beautiful crock pot, I always like to say, that comes together to create your main message and your edge. And that’s what you’re known for. And that’s really why I think we are having the success we are this year. I didn’t do anything wildly different. I just doubled downed on my edge. I doubled downed on my message. I didn’t try to add another layer. I didn’t try to add all these extra things. I’ve been ⁓ nauseatingly talking about the same thing, but I love it.

And I it’s funny because like back in the day I remember being like, my God, if I have to talk about content one more time when I first came back, postpartum. It’s because it was missing my edge. It was just boring content ⁓ lessons and tips. And I was like, I hate this shit. That’s not what I’m meant to do. I’m meant to help people with this, with their edge. So when I talk about content, it’s fun for me because it’s all edge led. So when you can really double down on that, it’s going to multiply. And so the second part of this for the whole 189K is also.

I signed during this time a one-on-one client who paid in full. ⁓ And she also did my group program. And she said we did VIP. And her fur after the first call, she’s like, ⁓ I’ve paid way too much money for masterminds, like 30,000 plus for masterminds. She said, I got more out of this one 60 minute call than I have in in that mastermind that joined. It was pretty cool. ⁓ and it’s just ⁓ it’s the process. It’s the process. ⁓ And so

There’s that’s the biggest thing I’ve seen is I’ve had a very long lifetime value ⁓ of my client. My clients tend to stay, re-sign, refer. I have a very, very big referral base. ⁓ And I just find that when you can so confidently talk about your offer and what you do well and what you don’t do well, you will bring in the right people who want to stay long, who want to keep working with you.

It’s so much easier and so much more fun to keep working with the same people. And of course, bringing new people. I mean, this launch was pretty much all new people, which was exciting. But it’s so exciting and much like cheaper, literally, to work with the same people because you get to go deeper and deeper and deeper. And they know you so well. I’ve been with my mentor. It’ll be almost two years coming in October. And ⁓ that she knows my business so in and out. She knows my pattern. She can remind me of certain things. I do the same thing with my clients, right? ⁓ And so

Megan Yelaney (00:30:37)

I really encourage you to ask yourself, like if I really want to have this happen, I want to do sales behind the scenes, right? I want to make this kind of money without having to be so forward-facing all the time. I do three to four. I really three this year: January, June, slash, July, and September will be my launches. So three main launches with little blips in between. So I’m doing this little workshop. I did another event a couple months ago, like little low-ticket stuff, very low energy. Already have it rinsing and repeating.

That is ⁓ all I can do right now with my lifestyle because the majority of the time I still want to be with my boys. And so I can’t launch every month. I can’t create something new every month. I’m I literally repeated my July event was the same in January. My September event I’m gonna run was the same last September. Like we are making it simple. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Once you have these things in motion, you can really start to multiply. You can start to add more people to your lead pool, more people to your programs.

And then those people, you serve the crap out of them. That is the next thing. You have to really be serving them. You cannot just be focusing on marketing. You have to really make your program better and better and better. ⁓ I am always updating my program, always to how can I explain this easier? How can I take what’s naturally in my head, what I do so naturally and make it easier for my client? That’s what you need to work on so that it’s easier and faster for you to help people, right? Deeper, faster, all of that stuff. And then it’s gonna compound.

But this is the hard work. I think this is the stuff that people don’t want to do. I ⁓ s I was talking to a bunch of people over the weekend with with after I ⁓ put up the 189K goal ⁓ or how I how I almost hit the 200k goal. ⁓ And I wanna be like, you know, like, my God, break it down for me. It was a combination of one-on-ones, mastermind and group and continuation, right? But when I look at the common thread, it was one main message.

One main public offer, everything else was behind the scenes because I served the crap out of my people and I had a very clear process that works, that gets clients’ results, and that I can easily talk about. That’s the secret. ⁓ And guess what? That did not happen in a month, in two, in three. ⁓ It took a long time. I will say, ⁓ I felt very confident ⁓ with my message by September of last year. And I started to work on it in October of the year before. Like

Megan Yelaney (00:33:00)

Fiddle with it. So it wasn’t on lock. I didn’t even have the distinctive edge planned out yet. So it was basically a year of me workshopping angles and all these things until I felt solid. Does is it gonna take you that long? It doesn’t have to. But when I think about it, is it that long? Is that long? I don’t think so. Not to bring in that much money. ⁓ No, it’s not long. ⁓ We’re just so like, everything has to happen so fast, right? You gotta put in the reps. You

Gotta be willing to throw shit out there. That’s the thing, is like we’re so tied to doing things so perfectly. ⁓ We’re so tied to doing things a certain way in a certain framework. I will tell my clients all the time, I’m gonna give you these frameworks, I’m gonna give you these things. I want you to also just try things, like content-wise, especially. You have to experiment. You have to be willing to test and fail and test and fail and test and fail. And then, ⁓ okay, that hit. Let’s let’s dissect why. It truly is an experiment. Any content creator will tell you that.

So ⁓ those are that’s the main, main, main reason that we had this quarter that this did well. ⁓ And I hope this, this like little synopsis over the last two episodes has helped you join the framework workshop. It’s gonna be so, so exciting. I’m I’m tweaking a little bit of thing, a little bit of stuff. So if you did come last year ⁓ or you’ve gotten the recorded version, come live. It’s gonna be awesome. There’s gonna be that live energy and there’s some little things tweaked. ⁓ I cannot wait. One thing that the GPT that I’ve pre-reprogrammed it to do.

Is when you plug your framework in, it gives you specific scenarios that your client goes through as well as tools that you can ⁓ name for your program. And I’m going to show you an example on live of how to take that tool and use it in content that’s very hooky, that has literally ⁓ gone viral for my clients. It’ll be really clear once we’re, once we’re in the pro in the ⁓ in the workshop together. But I’m very, very excited about that piece that I’m updating. All right, my friends, I will see you in the class. I will see you in the next episode.
